From April 5 to 8, 2025, Uzbekistan proudly hosted a delegation from China led by Zhu Chonglie, Party Secretary of Jinhua Province, and Wen Jianfei, Mayor of Yiwu. This official visit, made possible with the support of Centrum Holding, marked a significant step toward deepening cooperation in transportation, logistics, and infrastructure development.
Key highlights of the visit included:
A tour of the newly launched cargo terminal at Tashkent International Airport, where the delegation met with the leadership of Uzbekistan Airports to explore potential areas of collaboration.
In Andijan, the guests attended a presentation of a proposed $100 million logistics hub in Akhtachi, designed to handle up to 10 million tons of cargo annually.
Strategic discussions on the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan transport corridor, aimed at accelerating trade across Central Asia and enhancing regional supply chains.
As part of the visit, the delegation also toured UzKorAm Co, a Centrum Holding enterprise specializing in the production of plastic components for the automotive industry. Advanced manufacturing technologies and future expansion plans were presented. Zhu Chonglie emphasized the strategic importance of the Fergana Valley as a growing logistics hub in the context of shifting global trade dynamics and regional connectivity.
The visit concluded with a tour of Centrum Holding’s logistics warehouse in Tashkent and a meeting at the company’s headquarters. A formal agreement was signed to expand cooperation in cargo transportation, logistics, and trade facilitation.
