On September 23–24, 2025, the Central Asia Air Cargo Summit 2025 took place in Tashkent. This key industry event for the region brought together representatives of airlines, logistics companies, airports, and the media.
The main goal of the summit was to discuss current market trends, infrastructure development, logistics, and ways to strengthen transit air routes between Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. The forum featured conferences, exhibitions, and meetings aimed at exchanging expertise and developing strategic plans for the sector’s continued growth.
As part of the summit, one of the speakers was Vitaliy Andreev, CEO Advisor on Operational Efficiency at My Freighter, who gave an interview to the moderator of the opening session, journalist Maksim Pyadushkin of Central Asia + Aero.
Vitaliy Andreev emphasized that Tashkent is a key hub for My Freighter, thanks to the development of a new cargo terminal and the presence of a maintenance base. He highlighted that infrastructure is what defines competitiveness in the cargo segment and spoke about the importance of international partnerships and interline agreements, which expand the geography of transportation and ensure load factors on return flights from Europe.
“We are confident that the future of competition in air cargo in Central Asia will depend on infrastructure — fleet, skilled personnel, and the production capacities of cargo terminals and MRO organizations. That is why My Freighter is actively investing in these areas, to provide customers with reliable service and strengthen Uzbekistan’s position as a regional air cargo hub,” Andreev noted.
