On April 17, Uzbekistan’s private cargo airline My Freighter expanded its fleet with the addition of a new Boeing 767, which has become the 10th aircraft in its fleet.
The new aircraft, delivered in April, has been named after the great Uzbek figure Abdulla Qodiriy, whose birthday is also celebrated in the same month. Thus, the company symbolically continues its tradition of naming aircraft after prominent historical figures of Uzbekistan.
Abdulla Qodiriy is regarded as one of the founders of modern Uzbek literature, a writer, playwright, and public figure. He is best known for his novels “Bygone Days” and “Scorpion from the Altar”, which are considered classics of Uzbek literature. In his works, Qodiriy focused on themes of national identity, enlightenment, and social development, leaving a lasting impact on the country’s cultural heritage.
It is worth noting that this initiative was launched by Centrum Air on April 9, when the first aircraft was named after Amir Temur on the occasion of his birthday.
With the addition of the new Boeing 767, bearing registration number UK67022, the combined fleet of both airlines now totals 26 aircraft.
