Tashkent, December 11, 2024 — Uzbek cargo airline My Freighter has announced ambitious plans for international expansion, including the establishment of a new airline in Hungary. This initiative was revealed by the founder and CEO of Centrum Holding, Abdulaziz Abdurakhmanov, during the Central Asia Air Cargo Summit 2024.
A key element of this strategy will be obtaining a Hungarian Air Operator Certificate (AOC), enabling My Freighter to strengthen its presence in Europe and expand into markets in South and North America, the Middle East, and the Far East.
In addition, the company plans to establish a new cargo base in the Uzbek city of Navoi. Regular flights from Navoi will connect to European hubs such as Liège (Belgium) and Ostrava (Czech Republic), significantly improving the efficiency of freight operations.
Currently, My Freighter's fleet consists of six Boeing 767-300 cargo aircraft. However, the company is actively expanding its fleet and plans to add five more aircraft by 2025, with a total of 20 aircraft expected by 2026.
At present, My Freighter operates charter cargo flights from Hong Kong to Budapest with a stopover in Uzbekistan. Obtaining a Hungarian AOC will strengthen these ties, open new opportunities for serving European clients, and solidify the company’s position in the cargo transportation market.
My Freighter remains committed to its mission of advancing international logistics by providing reliable and efficient solutions for its partners.
